HISTORY
Downtowner Bar & Grill Restaurants have been serving great food
for over a decade under the name Webers Downtowner. We are proud to
have members of our management, service and kitchen teams who have
been with us since the beginning. We think that says a great deal
about us and even more about you, our guests.
Now, with a new name, updated decor and a new menu the staff and
management who have always been there for you are proud to be building
on our tradition to ensure we remain your choice for quality food
from fresh ingredients, fast friendly service and a clean and friendly
environment.

Our kitchen
philosophy is simple. We cook from scratch using fresh, authentic
ingredients. We start with food in its simplest, most natural form. We
purchase local and seasonal products. We make our food alive with
flavour and nutrition. We have a sincere passion at all levels of the
company for great food. From our part time student staff members, to
the experienced grill person, to our managers, to our support staff,
to our ownership, it's our daily focus.

Sustainability
We are committed to investing in the health of our communities and
the future of our food supply. Our first choice is to purchase produce
and baked goods locally. We use only trans-fat free oil in our fryers
and we serve organic, fair-trade coffees. We are committed to
purchasing from companies that manufacture environmentally-friendly
disposable products from renewable sources like corn, sugarcane, and
potato starch. The result is healthier communities and customers.
